Air pollution is causing an increase in breathing difficulties, such as hay fever, asthma, and other respiratory disorders. For centuries, salt mines have been used to alleviate these symptoms. Two men from Budapest have invented a Saltpipe that contains minerals mined from salt caves. The pipe provides the same benefits as salt caverns but without the need to travel daily. Its salty microclimate soothes the cells of the respiratory system and triggers their natural self-cleansing mechanism.
